Smartphones are becoming the dominant platform for digital sales as m-commerce (sales made on mobile devices) continues to rise. By 2027, m-commerce is expected to account for 50% of all e-commerce sales. This growth is mainly driven by smartphone sales, which already account for about 90% of m-commerce sales and are projected to grow by 16.7% in 2023. On the other hand, tablet and other mobile sales are declining.
