Yeti expands its retail footprint with the inauguration of its flagship New York City store, boasting a spacious two-story layout spanning 6,614 square feet. Situated in the Flatiron District across from Madison Square Park, this marks Yeti’s 20th retail outlet and first in the greater NYC area. The store showcases the brand’s diverse product range, including coolers, drinkware, bags, and outdoor gear. With on-site educational sessions and customised offerings, such as Rambler drinkware and Tundra trim kits, Yeti aims to deepen customer engagement. The move underscores Yeti’s increasing reliance on direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales, particularly evident in its thriving drinkware category, which surpassed $1 billion in sales last year. Amidst a global outdoor equipment market projected for significant growth, Yeti’s strategic expansion aligns with broader industry trends towards enhancing DTC channels for improved profitability.
