Unilever and Maersk, an integrated logistics and supply chain firm, have entered into a four-year partnership to manage Unilever’s ocean and air transport starting in 2022. The plan consolidates the establishment and organization of the Unilever control tower, which streamlines both its air transport and ocean shipping. Maersk’s digital supply chain platform, NeoNav, will assist the firm in managing transportation. The objectives of this collaboration include fostering quality assurance and productivity across the supply chain network of Unilever. Plus, the partnership aims to reduce carbon emissions, as Unilever plans to go carbon neutral by 2039.
