Coca-Cola is asking consumers to utilise artificial intelligence techniques to develop new designs based on some of its iconic images, such as the traditional contoured bottle, soda-guzzling polar bears, and even Santa Claus himself. Visitors may choose Coke pictures and copy ideas to the most recent versions of OpenAI’s DALL-E and GPT systems via a new webpage. Users may enter their work into a contest once they have tweaked the photographs and any text with the online editing tools, and the top images will be shown on Coca-Cola billboards in New York’s Times Square and London’s Piccadilly Circus. The top 30 AI artists will also be invited to attend Coke’s Real Magic Creative Academy in Atlanta this summer. Participants will hold the rights to their own design details, while Coca-Cola will retain ownership of the preexisting artwork.
