Over the past year, Henkel has made great strides towards creating a digitally enabled, simplified, and unified organisation. Henkel Consumer Brands was formed last year by the combination of the company’s laundry, home care, and beauty businesses. Henkel DX is Henkel’s Digital Business Unit, which has been the driving force behind the company’s digital transformation. Dean General, SVP of commercial development, sales and GM retailer brands for Henkel Consumer Brands North America, revealed that the firm has lately made major advances to simplify and maximise efficiencies through plant expansions and system integrations, such as the development of its facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky, to make it its most technologically sophisticated logistical operations. As it looks to the future, the corporation is incorporating sophisticated technology such as AI and blockchain into its day-to-day operations. They are leveraging data and insights on what motivates their consumers to explore new methods to contact them and remain adaptable in order to satisfy quickly changing consumer requirements. Henkel is pursuing a purposeful growth agenda with a clear strategic framework that includes developing a successful portfolio, establishing a clear competitive edge in the areas of innovation, sustainability, and digitalisation, and developing future-ready operating models based on a strong company culture.
