- The company signed a deal with Roku, allowing users to buy products directly from their TVs.
- It also opened its third-party marketplace to sellers from the UK, broadening its website assortment.
- In 2021, Walmart became the first retailer to introduce a shippable Livestream on Twitter.
The company also deployed AR in its operations by acquiring Zeekit, a virtual fitting room to launch a try-on AR tech for apparel on Walmart.com and for home décor it allows consumers to see the furniture in their home setting.
