Catalina, a research firm, conducted a survey involving 1,100 US adults aged 18 or above. The results revealed that a third of consumers are trying to avoid alcohol consumption this holiday season. It revealed that 37% of surveyed consumers plan to take the same amount of alcohol as they did during last year, 15% of them plan to take more, and 15% plan to reduce their alcohol intake. This disruption in alcoholic beverages has prompted beer manufacturers to launch low or no alcoholic drinks in the marketplace.
