Kraft Heinz unveils 2023 ESG report: Advancing sustainable impact and community support

The Kraft Heinz Company has unveiled its 2023 Environmental Social Governance Report, “Together at the Table,” showcasing its strides towards promoting community well-being and addressing sustainability challenges across its three core pillars: Healthy Living & Community Support, Environmental Stewardship, and Responsible Sourcing. Miguel Patricio, CEO and Chair of the Board, emphasised their responsibility as a global food and beverage giant to make a positive impact on communities, consumers, and partners. The report adheres to recognised standards, including those of the Global Reporting Initiative and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board. The report’s key highlights encompass the introduction of innovative packaging solutions for net-zero targets, such as a paper-based HEINZ® Tomato Ketchup bottle made from sustainably sourced wood pulp. The company exceeded its 2022 employee diversity goals and provided 334 million meals to those in need in 2022, on track to achieve its 1.5 billion meal target by 2025. Rashida La Lande, Executive Vice President, acknowledged the importance of collaboration and innovative partnerships in propelling Kraft Heinz towards its sustainability objectives.
