Instacart is launching shoppable video ads and enhanced shoppable display ads to expand its already existing advertising product suite. CPG companies can now interact and sell their products to consumers in a more efficient way. With the help of the new shoppable video ads, CPG companies can combine storytelling capabilities with shoppable products, allowing customers to shop and listen to the brand’s story via audio or motion. As far as the shoppable display is concerned, Instacart has developed a pop-up shop, featuring the brand’s imagery and direct add-to-cart functionality. Numerous CPG firms are piloting new products to work with Instacart including Dove, Mondelēz International, PepsiCo, and S.Pellegrino.
