Impossible Foods has closed its funding round at $500 million, which brings its lifetime funding to $2 billion. In addition to the existing investors, this round was led by Mirae Asset Global Investments. The funding would help Impossible Foods to expand its retail growth in the US and internationally via its technology platforms, supply chain network, and product portfolio. Plus, the company would be able to deal with the emerging threats of climate change. In 2020, the company raised a total of $700 million in two rounds.
