Flowers Foods launches website for consumer input on new products

Flowers Foods, Inc. launched a website to get consumer input on new products aimed at expanding its company outside the bread aisle. Nature’s Own morning pastries and Dave’s Killer Bread protein bars and snack bars are available on the website. The website allows for direct ordering and trial product delivery. Flowers stated that the website would be used to solicit real-world user input. Flowers explained that the site was created to evaluate customer interest, collect sales statistics, and request user feedback. According to the corporation, the insights obtained, along with other more traditional research approaches, will influence whether and how new goods are offered more publicly.
