Adrian Poretti joins Hostess Brands as chief supply chain officer

Adrian Poretti has joined Hostess Brands as chief supply chain officer, where he will be responsible for all Hostess operations and supply chain. Gary Schmidt, who has served as interim CSCO since January 2022 and will continue to head the company’s operations and technical teams, is succeeding him. Prior to joining Hostess, he was vice president of global supply chain capabilities at Kimberly-Clark, where he was in charge of operations and functions such as supply planning, procurement, manufacturing and logistics, quality, safety, sustainability, continuous improvement, strategy and transformation programmes. He remarked that he is thrilled to be joining a firm as agile and inventive as Hostess Brands and to offer a fresh, global perspective to the supply chain organisation.
