Specialty menswear and rental apparel retailer Men’s Wearhouse has launched an online concierge tool called Wedding Wingman to help grooms choose their wedding outfits. The tool asks a series of questions that would typically be asked by associates in-store, such as the season of the wedding and the dress code. It then offers a range of options that match the shopper’s vision, with the ability to sort them by fit. Shoppers can add certain looks to their virtual closet and schedule a fitting appointment. The online service is available nationwide on Men’s Wearhouse’s website. The company has invested in several digital capabilities in recent years, including a digital shirt finder and contactless AI fitting technology. Wedding Wingman was launched in response to feedback from customers, half of whom said wedding planning was too hard or time-consuming.
