Consumers shop via online channels for mainly three sectors, involving home furnishing, food and beverage products, and media equipment. As per the report, the e-commerce market is expected to develop in The Middle East region especially in Qatar and UAE due to the high GDP per capita and internet penetration. The reasons behind the unicorn growth of e-commerce in the MENA region include high internet penetration rate, rising incomes, high usage of technical gadgets, and improved logistics system. Keeping the current growth rate in mind, analysts expect to see the e-commerce market in the MENA region reach $49 billion in 2025.
