Kraft Heinz expands on trade promotion and supply chain investments with AB InBev

Kraft Heinz is collaborating with AB InBev to expand its presence in emerging markets through its BEES e-commerce platform. The collaboration will begin on the BEES platform in Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, with over 70 countries to be considered in the future. Kraft Heinz also shared greater insight into its own trade promotion technology and supply chain investments, which enable it to estimate sales down to the SKU and daily level. Moreover, Kraft Heinz disclosed information on its proprietary trade management system, which is intended to give real-time data for 100,000 of the company’s promotional events in the United States. Kraft Heinz has made investments to increase supply chain efficiency and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). This comprises a new logistics network, supply planning initiatives through a relationship with OMP, and demand planning using AI through o9 Solutions.
