PepsiCo will be the first receiver of electric semi-trucks by Tesla, which were presented in California on November 16, 2017 in a presentation.The trucks are powered by batteries and are expected to be functional by December 1st. Elon Musk, in one of his tweets, said that the 500-mile-range Class 8 trucks are “very fun to drive.” For the corporation, the vehicles will result in lower fuel expenses and fleet-wide emissions. The vehicle will be priced at $180,000 along with $40,000 congressional tax cut. PepsiCo is expected to receive 100 trucks, although it has not yet been confirmed by Tesla.
