Dollar Shave Club turns to Ordergroove’s subscription management platform to simplify e-commerce

Dollar Shave Club, a DTC brand, is transitioning its subscription system from an in-house-created solution to a third-party source. In collaboration with Shopify Plus, the brand is using the Ordergroove subscription management platform. Dollar Shave Club is teaming with Ordergroove to deliver tailored client experiences rather than establishing and maintaining its own subscription management capabilities.

The shop will use the Shopify Plus platform to manage one-time, non-subscription purchases. Subscription shops increased their entire client base by 31% on average year over year. Dollar Shave Club used Ordergroove to manage its subscriptions due to platform characteristics such as a configurable incentive architecture that allows for faster testing and optimisation of promotions to improve success.
