Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, recently announced that the application is now allowing users to share their NFTs on Instagram stories, messages, or feeds with no additional charges. Initially, Instagram will be using limited blockchains, namely Ethereum and Polygon. The third-party wallets that are compatible presently are Rainbow, MetaMask, and Trust Wallet. The CEO of the Meta company, Mark Zuckerberg, said that a similar functionality will be launched on Facebook and other Meta-apps. He added that the Meta company is working on 3D NFTs that can be added to Instagram stories using the company’s software AR platform, Spark AR. Other digital giants, including Twitter and YouTube are planning to embrace NFTs.
