A luxury French fashion brand, Balmain, aims to bring virtual experiences to its consumers via the web3 space. This year, the brand plans to do so by digitally reinventing its Balmain Festival, a fashion show, in partnership with MintNFT, a premium marketplace and studio. In 2021, Balmain NFT launched an NFT strategy that encouraged customers to try out the brand’s products. The brand has now shifted its focus to the long-term goals, launching its own non-fungible thread that allows customers to participate in the Balmain experience by tracking purchases and unlocking exclusive perks over time.
