In 2023, federal truck size and weight limitations are likely to be increased. The FMCSA has scheduled a long-awaited draught rule on automatic driving systems (ADS) for January. According to industry sources, this day will pass without a Federal Register notification. In 2023, a ruling on how ADS impacts truck operations, inspection, repair, and maintenance is expected.
