Mondelez International has announced Harmony Ambition 2030, the next step of its third-party validated European wheat sustainability initiative, in order to help reduce climate change, assist Harmony farmers, and engage in sustainable wheat research. Under the extended Harmony Regenerative Charter, the objective is to cultivate 100% of the wheat volume required for European biscuit manufacturing by 2030. Mondelez International will establish the Harmony Academy to assist Harmony farmers in transitioning to regenerative agriculture. The Harmony Academy will provide farmers with a comprehensive package of digital and on-the-ground training. Farmers will also be provided with digital tools to assist them in recording farming methods, calculating environmental effects on key performance indicators, and improving reporting efficiency.
