Meati appointed General Mills executive Scott Tassani to lead its path towards a larger marketplace

Healthier meat alternative producer, Meati, has hired Scott Tassani, General Mills executive, to secure the position of President. Meati manufactures whole cut meat from mycelium and aims to roll out its products next year. Tassani will help the company efficiently lead its path towards a larger marketplace. The firm produces healthier meat alternatives via fermentation. In summer, Meati raised $50 million and completed its 80,000 square foot plant.
