Kraft Heinz achieves net-zero emissions goal and sets new environmental commitments

“Together at the Table,” Kraft Heinz’s 2022 Environmental Social Governance (ESG) report, summarises the company’s ESG progress during 2021. Kraft Heinz has committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its worldwide supply chain by 2021. It also achieved great progress toward its target of reducing waste to landfill by 20% throughout its manufacturing plants by 2025. Kraft Heinz wants to serve 1.5 billion meals to individuals in need by 2025, boosting the total number of meals served since 2016 to approximately 1.2 billion. One of the company’s goals is to excel in diversity, inclusiveness, and belonging (DI&B). The corporation has boosted the number of women in global management roles and racial minorities in salaried jobs in the United States by two percentage points each.
