Google’s $149 Billion business under threat by ChatGPT

Larry Page and Sergey Brin have returned to Google to manage the company’s response to the ChatGPT threat. The Open AI chatbot is considered a major competitor to Google’s $149 billion-a-year internet search business. The two executives went through Google’s artificial intelligence products. Google intends to release more than 20 new A.I. products this year, the most notable of which will be a version of its search engine with chatbot capabilities. Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) — Get Free Report plans to invest $10 billion more in OpenAI, the chatbot’s developer. ChatGPT is an abbreviation for “generative pretrained transformer,” which indicates it has created a sophisticated sort of artificial intelligence that threatens Google’s dominance in internet search.
