Estee Lauder Companies pledge 100% electric vehicles by 2030

The Estee Lauder Companies has announced its determination to adopt 100% electric vehicles by 2030. This makes it the first beauty company to become part of the Climate Group’s EV100 initiative, which assembles companies that support transitions to electric vehicles. The company’s goal would be to reduce its Scope 1 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which is a step towards its science-based goal. It would also encourage other companies to follow suit. The pledge addresses the company’s direct operations’ impact on the climate and is a step towards reducing emissions and reaching sustainability.
